GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS

By booking any of our face painting services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully, these terms govern the services we provide and outline your responsibilities as a client.

1. Booking and Payment

• Deposit: A deposit is required to confirm your booking. This deposit will be deducted from your final payment.

• Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid within 14 days after the date of the event.

• Cancellations: If you wish to cancel your booking, please notify us at least 14 days in advance. Cancellations made less than 7 days before the event will forfeit the deposit.

• Rescheduling: You may reschedule your appointment up to 14 days prior to the event, subject to availability.

3. Services

• Face Painting: Rainbow FX Parties offers professional face painting services for events, parties, and special occasions. We use only high-quality, hypoallergenic, and skin-safe products.

• Health & Safety: Clients must inform us of any known allergies or skin sensitivities prior to the service. We will not be held responsible for any allergic reactions or skin irritations caused by products used during the session if prior notification was not given.

• Refusal of Service: Rainbow FX Parties reserves the right to refuse service if a client has open wounds, rashes, infections, or other contagious skin conditions. We also reserve the right to refuse service to any individual or event that we deem unsafe or inappropriate for our artists.

4. Client Responsibilities

• Location and Setup: For face-painting events, the client is responsible for providing a suitable space for our artists to work, including adequate lighting and access to clean water.

• Supervision: Children must be supervised by a parent or guardian during the face-painting or makeup session.

• Time Management: Our artists will arrive at the scheduled time. The client is responsible for ensuring that the participants are ready at the agreed start time. Delays caused by the client may result in reduced service time, with no refund or discount provided.

5. Health & Safety

• Product Safety: We use professional-grade face paints and makeup products that comply with EU and UK cosmetic safety standards. All products are designed to be safe for use on the skin, but we advise clients to notify us of any allergies or sensitivities beforehand.

• Hygiene: We maintain strict hygiene protocols. All brushes, sponges, and other tools are thoroughly cleaned and sanitised between clients to prevent cross-contamination.

6. Photography and Media

• Consent for Photos: Rainbow FX Parties may take photographs of face painting or makeup designs created during the event for promotional purposes. By booking our services, you agree to allow us to use these images on our website, social media, or other marketing materials. If you do not wish for your or your child’s image to be used, please inform us in writing prior to the event.

7. Liability

• Personal Injury: Rainbow FX Parties will not be liable for any personal injury resulting from the use of our products or services unless caused by our negligence. We take all necessary precautions to ensure the safety and comfort of our clients.

• Damages: Rainbow FX Parties will not be held responsible for any damage to clothing, personal property, or venue caused by face paint, makeup products, or equipment used during the service.

8. Force Majeure

Rainbow FX Parties will not be held liable for any failure to provide services due to circumstances beyond our control, such as extreme weather, illness, accidents, or other unforeseeable events. In such cases, we will make every effort to reschedule your booking or provide a full refund.

9. Governing Law These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. By agreeing to these terms, both parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
